Guidance for Reopening – The well-being, health and safety of children, their families and those working in the sector is a priority. This web-page provides guidance for parents and service providers on the reopening of early learning and care (ELC) and school-age childcare (SAC) services.

First 5 Continuing Professional Development resources for practitioners – Online CPD resources, developed and made available through the cooperation of a number of agencies to support service planning and practitioners’ professional development. Further free, online CPD resources will be added to the web-page over the coming days and weeks.

First 5 Pre-school at Home – Pre-school at Home Hub provides a range of activities to support and encourage children’s interests and aims to keep them playing and learning at home.

Let’s Play Ireland – Is a government-led initiative aimed at promoting play for all children living in Ireland during the COVID-19 emergency.

Parents Centre – During the COVID-19 measures, parents are managing a range of new challenges in a number of areas of life. The Parents Centre is a central information point where parents can get high-quality, trusted information and support.

National Parents Council – NPC provides services for parents, to assist them in supporting their children in all aspects of their educational lives. The main services that NPC offers are: Helpline/Information service, Training for parents of children in early years and primary school and a website resource for parents.

Kilkenny County Council Library Service – Podcasts and videos of storytimes for children and families, to encourage everyone to continue reading and sharing stories.
