Childcare Providers Networks

The Childcare Providers Network was established in 1998 as a response to support the ongoing needs and development of childcare providers and workers within Co. Kilkenny.

The catalyst for initiating this network was the delivery of a Childcare Fetac level 5 training course. An integral part of this course was the provision of informal support to the students as they worked to develop skills that would enable them to deliver quality childcare services.

The network has since grown and developed into a support group consisting of providers who value the importance of Early Childhood Care and Education. There is also a childcare providers network active in the South of the county to accomodate providers based in this area.

The Networks’ main role is the delivery of information sharing and training sessions on issues that are identified on an annual basis by childcare providers and workers. Information on upcoming network events can be dowloaded here
