The Resource Centre is a comprehensive library which aims to facilitate those involved in the childcare sector.

The resources available cover topics such as Child Health, Child Development, Parenting, Pedagogy and Curriculum, Arts and Crafts, Culture and Diversity, Management and Supervision and Early Childhood Professional Practice.

It consists of a wide range of literature, government reports, child care legislation, research articles, early childhood journals, information leaflets, training videos, childcare magazines and more.

Our Information Officer is also on hand to help you find what you are  looking for or to answer any queries you may have.

Membership

Membership for the Resource Centre is free and is open to all childcare providers, childminders, childcare workers, childcare students, parents, childcare tutors or anybody with a genuine interest in the childcare sector.

Members can borrow up to four items at any one time for a period of up to three weeks

Free PC and internet access is also available for members

The Resource Centre is located in our offices in Desart House on Lower New Street.

 9am to 5pm 

Monday to Friday

Closed from 1pm to 2pm for lunch
