Position Available: Team Leader Childcare Educator
Full Time/ Part Time: Full Time
Days Per Week: 5 days
Hours Per Week: 39 hours
AM / PM / Both: Both
Qualifications Required: Level 7/8 desirable
Job Description: To promote a warm, safe environment for the children and have a positive approach to working with young children.
The candidate should be motivated, energetic and an ability to work as part of a team.
To work in close co-operation with the childcare coordinator and other childcare staff.
To comply with current legislation eg, policies, procedures & HSE regulations.
To carry out any duties deemed necessary by the childcare coordinator/project manager/board of management.
To participate in in-service training and development where appropriate.
Contract Duration: 1 year with possible extension – immediate start

Qualifications Required: QQI Level 5 desirable but not essential.
Job Description: Supervising and taking care of a group of school aged children.
Supervising and supporting homework.
Following the daily schedule and completing daily tasks as needed.
Facilitate and assist with activities for the children.
Motivated and energetic with an ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
Full drivers licence desirable.
1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role desirable
