Deputy manager (Full time) – Minimum Level 6 Required – Starting date: August 2026

Fancy a challenge? We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated deputy manager to join our team in August. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s development and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong organisation and record keeping skills.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
• Observe, document, and support children’s learning and progress
• Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements are followed

Requirements

• Desirable QQI/FETAC Level 7/8 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Early Years setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Garda Vetting required
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks desirable
