Position: Early Years Assistant (Part-time, sessional) starting Aug 31st. 2018

 

Role:

  • To identify and support the interests and needs of children through an emergent and inquiry-based curriculum in a busy outdoor Montessori setting

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Motivated, genuine individual capable of working alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in both spoken & written English
  • Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta
  • Enthusiastic about outdoor learning
  • Minimum NFQ Level 6 qualification in Early Years’ Childhood Care and Education or equivalent
  • Interest and motivation to take part in CDP courses as they arise

 

Desired requirements:

  • Knowledge of Montessori philosophy
  • Minimum 1 year paid work experience

 

Salary depending on qualifications and experience
