Little Shamrocks are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to cover maternity leave from August 2025 in Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny There is a possibility of this being extended past maternity leave.
Little Shamrocks is a family owned Creche with two group rooms. We have a lovely, enclosed garden for the children to play with overlooking a lovely stream. We like to go on lots of walks to the local GAA pitch and play park.
Position is for 35-40 hours a week and is over 52 weeks of the year. This can also be Discussed with manager during interview.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum Fetac Level 5 in Childcare OR equivalent
- Ability to look after children in a loving & caring manner.
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to implement quality early childhood curriculum & creative skills to develop age-appropriate activities.
- Good working knowledge of the Aistear curriculum
- Understand & follow TUSLA regulations.
- Naturally warm and respectful towards children and their needs
- We are looking for someone who can work as part of a busy team and also work on their own initiative when needed.
