Muckalee Community Creche
Muckalee Community creche is currently recruiting for a full-time educator for our Baby/Wobbler room. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Childcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. While prior experience is desirable, we welcome newly qualified candidates who hold a minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Years and are eager to embark on a rewarding journey in childcare.
Daily Duties:
Engage with children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the childcare area, ensuring a hygienic and inviting space for children.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime to ensure their safety and well-being.
Implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with our curriculum.
Observe and document children’s progress, behaviour, and milestones.
Collaborate with other team members to plan and coordinate activities and events.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children and families.
First Aid certification (preferred but not required, training can be provided).
Garda vetting and reference checks will be conducted for all applicants.
