Communities of Professional Practice

October 14, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

- Free

We will be facilitating our next Community of Professional Practice on Tuesday 14th October 6.30pm-7.30pm in the Kilkenny Education Centre.

Our focus for discussion will be on Updated Aistear’s ‘Supporting Learning and Development through a reflective cycle of Planning and Assessing’.

If you have any specific queries that you would like to add to the agenda, please let us know when booking and we can ensure your topic is discussed.

For your reference, please see Aistear’s Guidance for Good Practice Aistear-G-ENG.pdf

Please be reminded that this is not a training – Kilkenny CCC will simply be facilitating a space for educators to share ideas and ask questions with other educators in Kilkenny early years services. For this discussion to be beneficial to you, we would ask that you share ideas of how you currently reflect and plan and if anyone is willing, we invite you to bring samples of your planning and assessing documents (redacted of any childrens names /photos for GDPR purposes) This is also the space for you to ask questions if you are unsure or curious about how another educator/service implements their planning cycle.
