Over the coming months KKCCC will run a Síolta Quality Development Programme which will consist of a series of 4 Síolta training workshops.
This course aims to support you in becoming more familiar with Síolta, the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education, but also to see you begin to use the framework to develop and maintain high quality practice in all aspects of your service. Services and Practitioners are welcome to sign up to the programme as a whole, or attend individual stand alone sessions.
Session 1 – Tuesday 5th March

Session 2 – Wednesday 20th March
This session will relate to Standards: 13 – Transitions , 14 – Identity and Belonging and 16 – Community Involvement.

Session 3 – Tuesday 14th May
This session will relate to Standards: 1 – Rights of the Child, 3 – Parents and Families 4 – Consultation and 5 – Interactions.

Session 4 – Tuesday 11th June
This session will relate to Standards: 4 – Consultation, 8 – Planning and Evaluation, 9 – Health and Welfare, 10 – Organisation, 11 – Professional Practice, 12 – Communication, and 15 – Legislation and Regulation.

Each of the above sessions run from 7 to 9.30pm approx.
