Kilkenny Community Early Years Project is recruiting for a Full Time – Early Years Educator (6 month contract)
Kilkenny Community Early Years is a cross community, needs based Early Years service catering for children aged 2 to 6 years. KCEYP works to support children and families to reach their full potential in all areas of development, through the implementation of a play based emergent curriculum, while our Home Liaison team uses a partnership approach in assisting, liaising and mediating with other professionals who are supporting the families.
Early Years Educator (6 month contract, with possibility of extension). Full Time – 35 hours per week (hours somewhat negotiable for the right candidate)
- Applicants require a minimum QQI Level 5 or 6, however Level 7 or 8 would be desirable.
- Experience working in an Early Years setting would be desirable.
- The successful applicant will have good working knowledge of Aistear and Siolta, the ability to work as part of a team and the passion for working with children in the early years.
Rate of Pay: €16.65- €17.79 dependent on level of Education, as approved by the board of Management. As a result of multiple funding streams, 35% of hours paid at a higher rate of pay.
