This training aims to build on previous learning from the TUSLA eLearning programme and will provide further understanding of child safeguarding practice for those who work directly with children and families in early years and school age services.

• This training is about inclusion for all children and the approach gives you goals to work through for children and adults in your service.
This basic introductory workshop is aimed at educators who are new to the sector and working with Síolta and Aistear or those who would like to increase their understanding of and familiarity with Síolta, Aistear and the Practice Guide.
The programme comprises of 2 workshops, each of which focuses on a particular group of Síolta standards. Through individual reflection, and small and large group activities, participants will increase their understanding of and become more familiar with the range of Síolta standards and how they can be applied within everyday practice.

Kilkenny CCC will be hosting an ‘ELC/SAC Childcare Educators Recruitment Event’ on Friday, 23rd of June from 10:00am – 4:00pm in the Kilkenny CCC office, Kilkenny Education Centre Campus, Seville Lodge, Kilkenny (R95 RH97).
The KKCCC office will be open to support any ELC/SAC educators, newly graduated ELC/SAC educators, Early Years Students with letters of eligibility (Level 5) looking to find work in the childcare sector and individuals interested in starting a career in childcare and/or becoming a childminder.
